Linda Quinlan, Associate Broker with 30A Local Properties, has lived in the area since 1955. She first entered the real estate business in 1994, specializing in the Crystal Beach, Destin, Santa Rosa Beach, Sandestin, and 30A markets. Southern hospitality guides her customer service style. Our team sells from Destin to Panama City and everything in between. She provides timely, honest, and transparent advice that you can rely on from her years of experience selling real estate.

Real estate is a constantly changing industry. When Linda first began her career, she became an expert on 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, pre-construction, second and vacation homes, and eventually certified short sale and foreclosure specialist. She is a luxury properties and investment specialist. She has a long and storied lifetime growing up along the water whether it is Beach, Bay or Bayou front.

I would like to share with you some of my experience in business and real estate, which has made my real estate career successful over the past 26 years.

Linda was a banker for the first ten years as an adult, working my way up from a receptionist to holding positions for the vice presidents, presidents and CEO’s of local banks in Tallahassee, Marianna, Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach. Customer service and loyalty were her best traits. She also learned about who you lend mortgage money to, how help farmers who lost their crops and business owners trying to succeed.

At the age of 30, she found herself single and raising two children with no child support. A career change was mandatory to survive. She was offered a job selling cars in 1978 and one of only 3 women in that business. It proved to be a very good move for her. She treated her customers like she did her bank clients and had many referrals for fifteen years. One thing about selling cars, is that you learn how to please not only the buyers but the car dealer as well. You work for the sale, not the commission.

She became a finance manager at a boat dealership in Fort Walton and applied the same skills to that job.
Once her children were out of high school and college, she moved to Destin. It was the right time for her to go into a real estate career. She had honed her sales and customer service skills; all she had to do was learn the real estate market. For the last twenty- six years Linda has been a full time Realtor, Broker Owner of her own companies and felt the ups and downs of the market not only professionally but personally. A run up of the market is wonderful but a crash is horrifying. In some of the properties we researched for you, that were sold prior to 2005 it was terrible to see how many millions were lost in the crash of 2007 and 2008.

Being a local since 1955, Linda loves the 30A Local Properties brand and professionalism as a company. She is proud to be listing, selling and mentoring younger agents in the company, teaching them the right way to be a Realtor.
